“Tere Tille Ton” tells the tragic story of Heer Ranjha through Ranjha's eyes. The song highlights Ranjha's time as a heartbroken jogi, yearning to reunite with Heer. Composed by Kesar Singh Narula with lyrics by Hardev Dilgir, "Tere Tille Ton" was originally released as ‘Ranjhe Di Kale’ on Kuldeep Manak’s debut LP, Ektara. The song belongs to a less common genre of Punjabi music called Kaliyan, which Manak and Dilgir played a large role in bringing to the mainstream.
